Season after season, fashion goers ongoing dilemma is always, “What is everyone wearing this season? “What are the new trends this year? “How does one actually wear the trends that are taking over the runway? While summer fashion might be a little far from your agenda right now, it won’t be long until we’re taking off for spring break and summer vacations. Here are 5 spring/summer 2018 trends that are taking over right now.
Structured Sunglasses
The 90’s fashion trends are becoming more popular now than ever before. Small 90’s sunglasses are back! They can dress up any outfit. The razor and sharp like designs and punches of color make any outfit cool & effortless. Whether you’re chilling out relaxing or running errands in town, these glasses can be worn all year long.
Pastels
This trend always comes back around in the spring. It’s pretty, vibrant and adds a splash of color to your outfit after dealing with the harsh, cold winter months. Especially lavender, yellow and pink
‘Athleisure’
This is a new trend that uses clothing designed for workouts and other athletic activities as everyday wear. Athleisure outfits include yoga pants, leggings or sweatshirts that look like athletic wear but are still fashionable. It’s dressed up sweats and exercise clothing to give you that ‘I just got out of the gym and have errands to run’ look. It has been worn by Rihanna, Selena Gomez & Kendall Jenner.
Barets
There’s a long, deep history of chic women sporting the beret. Originally from France, not only has it graced style icons we all know and adore, but it is also a major accessory on runways and street wear. Pair it with anything to dress your outfit up.
Small bags
The fanny pack is here to stay. No matter your style, there’s a fanny pack anyone would like. You can wear it traditionally on your waist or try a new way to wear it across your chest.
