Street Vendors Protest for Passage of Legislation to Lift License Cap

• Street vendors have dealt with a city-mandated cap on the number of permits issued to vend legally. 

• Legislation S1175A and A5081A could support business owners and allow them to build capital. 

• These new bills, sponsored by Senator Jessica Ramos and Assemblywoman Jessica Gonzáles-Rojas, would formalize street vending in our boroughs.
