Nearly two dozen York College students joined the university-wide Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for the Fall 2023 semester, an acknowledgement of success in both athletics and academics.
The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) released its tabulations from all 14 member campuses which participate in varsity-level sports and whose students earn a 3.2 grade point average or better. York’s students scored across all six of its Fall sports programs.
The list includes sports that conducted their championship in the Fall including men’s & women’s cross country, men’s & women’s soccer, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball.
In a comment to York Athletics, CUNYAC Associate Director Kim Wright congratulated the honorees on their accomplishment. “Our CUNYAC student-athletes continue to rise to the challenge and thrive in the classroom. Congratulations to our honorees as they continue to put in championship performances on and off their respective playing surface.”
