With a mission rooted in professional development, mentorship, and community uplift, the chapter offers resources that extend far beyond the classroom.

Professional Development with Purpose
One of the chapter’s most sought-after offerings is its personalized resume review service. Students receive one-on-one feedback from professionals, ensuring their resumes are polished, impactful, and tailored for competitive internships and job applications.
Interview preparation sessions simulate real-world scenarios, providing students with constructive feedback on tone, delivery, and content. The goal is to help students learn how to tell their stories with clarity and confidence.
In addition, the chapter offers opportunities to participate in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, where students gain valuable hands-on experience during tax season by preparing tax returns and applying classroom knowledge in real-world settings.
Access to National Conferences Free of Charge
Each year, NABA York College sponsors students to attend the NABA Conference, covering travel, lodging, and registration costs. The conference connects students with recruiters from top firms, offers career fairs, and hosts workshops on leadership, financial literacy, and diversity in the workplace. Students also participate in business simulations and case studies, gaining practical insights into problem-solving and decision-making in real-world business scenarios.
LinkedIn Workshops and Firm Visits
Recognizing the importance of a strong digital presence, NABA York hosts LinkedIn workshops to help students craft professional profiles, expand their networks, and learn outreach etiquette. The chapter also organizes visits to accounting firms and financial institutions, giving students firsthand exposure to corporate environments and career pathways.
Community and Connection
Beyond professional development, NABA York College fosters a sense of belonging through social events like game nights, team-building activities, and more. These events allow students to unwind, connect, and build lasting friendships. The chapter is committed to creating connections that extend well beyond graduation, supported by a strong foundation with its alumni network.
