Unvaccinated Athletes Return to Playing Home Games in NYC

• After declaring professional sports teams would have to wait their turn, Mayor Adams announced athletes no longer have to adhere to the private business mandate. 

• Most notably, Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, who remains unvaccinated, can play all home games.

• Adams says he’s still supportive of the vaccine and encourages everyone to get vaccinated.
